Alyssa Wahlstrom, PA

Dewey, AZ

“I love collaborating with patients to create plans of care that are sensitive to their specific needs.”

About Me

I was born and raised in Arizona, so I am full of State 48 pride! I have always wanted a career that would help people and am so blessed to do that as a PA. During my dual-degree education, I learned how each person can have a positive impact on our community, and how that community can also provide resources for each person to live healthier lives.

Education and Training

Dual Degree Master of Physician Assistant Studies and Public Health- Arcadia University Bachelor of Science in Biology-Hofstra University

Favorite activity outside of work

I enjoy spending time with family, staying active, and exploring new places.

Professional Experience

Prior to PA school, I worked as a medical scribe for a cardiology clinic. Then, during school, I was able to complete a variety of rotations from rural family medicine in the panhandle of Texas to a hectic Emergency room in southside Chicago. Throughout my experiences I was able to encounter patients from many diverse backgrounds and appreciated each opportunity to grow as a provider!

What will make you a great provider?

I hope to be a provider that ensures each patient has their concerns heard and addressed. I want patients to feel comfortable and empowered to manage their health while also considering their specific goals.
