ABOUT ME
I have worked in healthcare for over 23 years. Helping people heal is my passion and my life\\\'s work. It is an honor to be engaged in care at any level, and I am grateful for each opportunity I have been presented with over the years.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
I worked as a home health aide caring for elderly adults for 10 years, before graduating as a nurse 13 years ago. I spent 1 year in the hospital setting as a telemetry RN before transferring to the ICU. I worked 10 years in the ICU gaining trauma, neuro, and dialysis certifications before becoming an ICU charge nurse. Since then, I have worked with adult and geriatric patients as a family nurse practitioner. I am driven to continue to make a positive impact on the lives of the people in our community.
FAVORITE ACTIVITY OUTSIDE OF WORK
I enjoy scuba diving, traveling, exploring new cultures, camping, and SxS adventures with the family.
WHAT WILL MAKE YOU A GREAT PROVIDER?
What makes me a good provider is the daily recommitment I make to myself, my patients, and to medicine to relentlessly advocate for the rights of my patients, promote evidence-based medicine, and to have each patient achieve the greatest quality of life as they define it.
