“As it relates to healthcare – Compassion without knowledge, while very nice, is dangerous. Knowledge without compassion is objectionable, however commonplace. If you can find it, knowledge with compassion, is absolutely invaluable.”

About Me

20 years ago, I studied at the University of Arizona as an undergraduate, and went on to the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon to complete my Doctor of Chiropractic Degree. My wife Sarah and I returned to Tucson to open a private practice in February of 2010. After a couple of years of practicing Chiropractic Medicine, I decided to expand my scope of practice and returned to the University of Arizona in 2012 to study Nursing. This journey concluded with my Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Sarah and I worked side by side in our private, multidisciplinary clinic on the Northwest side of Tucson until the Fall of 2024 when I decided to join Optima Medical. This next chapter of my career will be a welcome change of being able to focus solely on patient care instead of the day to day concerns of business ownership.

What will make you a great provider?

A great healthcare provider is one who is patient enough to listen, has the knowledge (and time) to educate, and the humility to deliver recommendations with the recognition that the provider/patient relationship is a partnership.
