“I love what I do and value the relationships I build with my patients to understand their individual goals and health needs. I want to empower my patients to live healthy and fulfilling lives.”

About Me

Over the last 9 years, I have gone from a patient care assistant to a family nurse practitioner. My experience in various roles has guided me into my work as a provider today. I have spent over six years in a trauma OR setting, which has equipped me with the tools necessary to quickly assess, critically think, and manage my patients with dignity and care.

Education and Training

Bachelor's of Nursing--University of Louisville
Family Nurse Practitioner--Northern Kentucky University, Master's of Nursing

Professional Certifications

Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner Member of American Academy of Nurse Practitioners

Professional Experience

I have worked in the operating room for almost 9 years. I worked as a patient care assistant and then nurse for the last 5 years while I finished NP school. I worked in a trauma OR in Louisville, KY, where I was trained in all specialties, however, specialized in orthopedics and oral/maxillofacial surgery.

Favorite activity outside of work

I enjoy being outdoors, going hiking, camping, and traveling with my husband and two dogs.

What will make you a great provider?

I think it is important to develop a great patient-provider relationship where we can learn from one another and work together to develop a care plan that will optimize the patient's health. I want my patients to be able to do the things they love and not let their health stand in the way of that.
