ABOUT ME
I am a board certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I have 7 years of experience in healthcare, 5 of which are in mental health and substance use treatment. I started my career as a Registered Nurse. My passion for mental health treatment led to my pursuit of more education to become a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. My approach to mental healthcare is a combination of offering medication and helping develop coping skills to address symptoms. I believe in working with the patient to develop a plan to improve mental wellness that works for them.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
My experience as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner has been with adults seeking mental health and/or substance use treatment in inpatient and outpatient settings. Most of my experience as a Registered Nurse was in home health care and mental health and substance use treatment.
FAVORITE ACTIVITY OUTSIDE OF WORK
My favorites activities at home are cooking, reading, and spending time with my dogs. I also have a love for comedy and enjoy going to stand-up comedy shows.

I’m open minded, a good listener, and I think outside the box. I believe that the individual is the expert on how they feel. I enjoy having conversations with patients and I want to come up with ideas and solutions that align with the patient’s goals.
