“I am privileged to collaborate with my patients each day, empowering them to shape their journey toward healthier, happier lives.”
PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS
I am board certified as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and maintain an active Registered Nurse (RN) license. I also hold certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), alongside demonstrated proficiency in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
EDUCATION AND TRAINING
I hold a Master of Science in Nursing (Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner) from Wilkes University in Wilkes Barre, PA, where I am also pursuing a Post-Graduate Certificate in Adult-Gerontology Primary Care. Prior to this, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from West Chester University in West Chester, PA, and a Bachelor of Science in General Studies from Wilmington University in New Castle, DE.
ABOUT ME
I am a compassionate and results-driven Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 12 years of high-acuity nursing experience and a passion for holistic patient care. My journey from ICU and emergency nursing to PMHNP has reinforced my commitment to integrating both the mind and body in mental health treatment. Each day, I strive to guide my patients toward improved well-being through evidence-based medication management and integrative approaches. I firmly believe in partnering with patients to help them achieve their mental, emotional, and physical health goals.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
From 2024 to 2025, I practiced as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at a holistic outpatient clinic in Phoenix, AZ, conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and integrating medication management with CBT for mood disorders, anxiety, and depression. During this same period, I also held a part-time telehealth position, providing psychiatric care to diverse populations, performing mental health assessments, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective treatment plans. Before transitioning into psychiatric care, I worked as an ICU Registered Nurse at a major hospital in Phoenix, delivering critical care to patients with complex conditions and coordinating evidence-based interventions. My earlier RN career (2012–2022) spanned high-acuity settings—ranging from COVID-19 ICU/SICU/Tele/Med-Surg to pediatric med-surg behavioral health, emergency departments, and observation units—where I honed my leadership, crisis-management, and collaborative skills. I am also proud to have served in the United States Coast Guard as a Petty Officer and Small Boat Engineer, conducting Search & Rescue and Maritime Law Enforcement operations.
FAVORITE ACTIVITY OUTSIDE OF WORK
Outside of work, I love exploring Arizona’s desert landscapes through hiking and mountain biking. I also enjoy spending time with friends and family, savoring Southwestern cuisine, and visiting the Channel Islands in California for hiking and relaxation.
