With my career so far I have worked on different units in the hospital and it has taught me how to advocate for patients that do not know how or cannot advocate for themselves and how to educate a wide range of patients. I have always cared for my patients with respect and dignity. As a nurse practitioner I plan to aid patients in the same way and continue to aid in their wellness.

I have worked as a RN in the hospital setting for 9 years, including neonatal intensive care unit and on the medical/surgical/oncology specialties.
When I am not working I enjoy escaping in a good book, hanging out with my husband and our dogs, and exploring new places and going to old favorites.
I will listen to what the patient is telling me and making sure the treatment plan is align with their values and abilities.
