EDUCATION AND TRAINING

My training includes obtaining a bachelor of science in nursing and i earned a summa cum laude, master’s graduate of nursing science degree, focused on family practice

ABOUT ME

I went from being a CNA to an FNP and loved every part of this rewarding journey. I treat patients and their family members as if they are my own loved ones! I offer them compassion and love, to include a complimentary approach, with positive perspectives on their healthcare options, while educating them about allowing the body to heal itself, when able.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

I worked as a home health cna, to rn case manager for over 20 years while completing my degree as a family nurse practitioner, and additionally, working on the pediatric unit at john c lincoln hospital, all while raising 3 teenage children, and my youngest special needs child. I have specialized in pain management and substance use disorders.

FAVORITE ACTIVITY OUTSIDE OF WORK

Anything on the water, especially boating, painting, drawing, gym workouts, Spending time with my boyfriend, children and grandchildren. Traveling to Australia to visit my oldest child and her husband and my grandgirls there!

What makes me a great provider is my vast array of knowledge and caring for folks of all ages across the lifespan my . Additionally, my desire to keep abreast of current treatment standards and approaches. I offer this with true heart of compassion to help them. I intentionally keep learning and offer the most education possible related to chronic disease to my patients, so that my can better understand the importance of why i ask them to do the tasks i do. My love for my ability to assist them with their healthcare status and my sense of humor helps my patients feel at ease with me and to entrust me with their care.
