ABOUT ME

I began my 18-year nursing journey at the age of 17, working as a CNA in a memory care unit. It was there that I discovered my passion for caring for others and knew I wanted to turn that passion into purpose. While raising my children, I pursued my education and became a Registered Nurse, finding my niche in correctional and mental health nurse specialty care. Supporting individuals in crisis with compassion and quality care gave me a deep sense of fulfillment. I believe everyone deserves to be seen, heard, and cared for. Advancing my education had always been a personal goal, and becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner stands as a testament to the power of dedication, resilience, and hard work. As a nurse practitioner, I strive to combine both my personal and professional experience to support the health and wellness of my patients trusting me for their care.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

CNA- I worked 5 years in skilled nursing facilities and memory care units.
RN- I worked 12 years between Correctional facilities, Inpatient Mental Health facilities and Substance Use Disorder facilities. I also have experience in Acute Rehab, Home Health, and Nurse Management
FNP- 1 year as a Family Nurse Practitioner

FAVORITE ACTIVITY OUTSIDE OF WORK

I enjoys spending time with her husband and children glamping it up in the camper and going for off road ATV rides with friends. I love sleep overs with the grandkids. However on my weekends it isn’t surprising to find myself escaping to the back yard in the hammock during the warm weather with a good Netflix series running in the background.

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU A GREAT PROVIDER?

Understanding and caring about the emotional and physical needs of others.
