“My job as a physician is to give you (the patient) the best information I can. Your job is to decide what to do with it.”
Throughout my career, I have placed an emphasis on involving patients in their medical decisions. While I provide traditional Family Practice care, I have a special interest in type 2 diabetes and offer an aggressive approach to diabetes prevention and management. I continue to utilize my chiropractic background by offering osteopathic manipulative treatment to my patients.
Internship and Family Practice Residency - Mesa General Hospital
Doctor of Osteopathy - Western University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific
Doctor of Chiropractic - Los Angeles College of Chiropractic
Pre-Med undergraduate training - Utah State University
Board certified in Family Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians
Certificate in Diabetes Care from the Endocrine Society and the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians
I maintained a private chiropractic practice in southern California for 12 years before entering medical school. I founded and then operated Options Medical for 19 years before joining the Optima Medical team.
My wife and I have three grown children who we love to spend time with, especially playing games together. We spend time in church service and look forward to serving a mission. We have enjoyed doing home renovations together and lived to tell the tale! We enjoy both vacations and staycations and sometimes doing absolutely nothing.
I treat patients the way I would want to be treated. We develop an organized plan for each patient to help them stay on track with their health care. 12 years of listening to my chiropractic patients complain about their physicians has profoundly influenced the way I practice medicine.
Same Day Appointments are Available.
