“As a nurse we have the opportunity to heal the mind, soul, heart and body of our patients. They may forget your name but they will never forget how you made them feel.”
I have been a registered nurse for just shy of 10 years. I have worked in many different areas including home health, telemetry, intensive care unit and most recently labor and delivery. As an ICU nurse I became a certified critical care nurse and obtained my CCRN. I love learning and growing as a medical professional so I pursued my Master of Science in nursing, specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. As a nurse practitioner my goal is to care for the whole person physically, mentally emotionally by using evidenced based practice. I feel the most important thing to focus on is health promotion and education, in addition to building a strong rapport with my patients and their families.
Master of Science of in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner-Frontier Nursing University

I want to give all of my patients the time they deserve and listen to and answer each of their questions or concerns. My goal is to build a relationship with each patient and develop a plan of care that the patient helps create which in turn helps to obtain goals.
In my free time I love camping with my husband, three children and white lab. We love traveling. We also love being out on the softball field for my daughter who is in club softball.
