“I genuinely believe that “CARE” is the most important part of healthcare and it drives what I do.”

About Me

I’ve been in healthcare for over 20 years. I’ve gone from medical assistant, to CNA, to LPN, to RN, to Family Nurse Practitioner. At the same time I’ve been an educator at the secondary and collegiate level. Along the way I’ve learned that listening to the person across from me and making an effort to understand their needs helps them, but it helps me too. Every interaction is a chance for us to learn from each other, every day a chance to improve any aspect of our lives and health.

Education and Training

Masters of Science in Nursing-Concentration in Family Nurse Practitioner from Herzing University.

Professional Certifications

Board Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB), Member of The American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).

Professional Experience

I've worked as a LPN in home health, and an RN in adult cardiac telemetry and neuro telemetry, as well as pediatric ortho/neuro and Adult/Pediatric Medical Surgical units. Most recently I've spent time in primary care focused on preventative health and chronic care management.

Favorite activity outside of work

Outside of work I love to travel and immerse myself in new places and cultures. I enjoy creating and learning new things.

What will make you a great provider?

I'll be a great provider because of my own experience as a patient. I've felt and know the difference that sincere care and thoughtful consideration can make.
