After starting my career as a Physician Assistant, I decided to pursue my first interest in primary care medicine and returned to school to become a family physician.
In 1996, I earned my medical degree from Des Moines University in Iowa.
I received my undergraduate degree from Western Michigan University.
I completed Family Medicine Residency Training at Phoenix Baptist Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona.
FAAFP-Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians
I worked in private practice for 25 years prior to joining Optima Medical.
I am active in my community and enjoy exercise, yoga, travel as well as spending time with my family.
