Heather Armbrust, NP

I am a Family Nurse Practitioner working with mainly adolescent through older adult populations of patients for the past 8 years. I have worked in Internal Medicine, Family Practice, and Tribal Health. I primarily work with a focus on prevention and wellness through the lifespan. I believe in empowering my patients and working with them where they are in their lives. I work within the conventional model of medicine, but I have practiced with an extension to the medicine I deliver through the Integrative Medical Approach of Anthroposophical Medicine in which I have trained for the past 11 years. This model of care allows the extension of treatment to include homeopathy as a possible treatment plan in addition to the conventional approach used in our modern form of medicine. I love working with patients through this integrative approach as I feel it allows me to see a bigger picture in how I view the patient and their needs. I am also training in a Psychology course which I will complete in 2025. I plan to offer these services to my patient’s mental health needs as well.
